£6.00£12.00

The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic interceptor which later became widely used as an attack aircraft. Initially a day fighter, it was developed into an all-weather fighter in the late 1960s. It was originally developed by Lockheed for the United States Air Force. Belgium operated F-104G and TF-104Gs. The Belgian Air Force operated the type from 14 February 1963 to 19 September 1983; some surviving  aircraft were sent to Taiwan (23 aircraft) and Turkey (18 aircraft). Thirty-eight F-104G and three TF-104Gs were lost in accidents.
