The Dark Green/Dark Earth was hastily introduced in 1940. A refinement of this was the Shadow Shading Compensating scheme which consisted of light green and light earth on parts of the aircraft that was in shadow. In the Desert, the dark green was overpainted with light earth. Schemes varied widely. Modelers must check the references for their projects. Use the additional vinyl as required to make your changes.
