“MK329” was a made from a collection of aircraft at squadron level and was never a aircraft with a recorded serial number from the factory. Perhaps the key was that MK292 was Johnson\s offical aircraft. It is said he flew this twice with the guns removed to ferry beer to the pilots of his squadron
