Stanislaw Wladyslaw Krzeminski n Koltunbank was the pilot of the BH-L. During the second combat flight, the Kiel air raid on the night of July 23/24th, his Lancaster III BH-L (ED779) was damaged by German anti-aircraft artillery. One of the debris, which almost took the life of the young aviator then, was kept by him as a souvenir for many years. Radio operator Sgt. Wincenty Kostryca and shooters Sgt. Edward Waloch and Sgt. Alfred Schicke. He participated in nine operational flights aimed at bombing objects in Germany, Belgium and France.
