Although masks were available in the market place, they either showed a number of inaccuracies when comparing the camouflage scheme to historical photographs or the dimensions were wrong.

Our first mask was designed for a Tamiya Mk I Spitfire in 1/48 scale.

Other modellers commented on the finished model and began requesting masks for their own use. As the second and third mask was developed, more and more people within the modelling community asked for a mask set and so TopNotch Masks was born.
