Matts Stippling method

 

I used a very dark brown as a base coat, then stippled a mid-brown over that, then stippled orange, then stippled mid brown again. Then dry-brushed GW boltgun metal over the raised points (the other paints were GW too, but I can’t remember the new names), I am quite intuitive when I do things I am used to, so often can’t remember the details.
